Un tripudio di colori, suoni e sapori della tradizione, che si mescolano ad un’anima attuale, ironica e spesso irriverente: questo è il Carnevale ai piedi del Monte Bianco, o meglio lo Camentràn, che in dialetto locale significa “che entra in quaresima”. “Lé Beuffons” annunciano l’arrivo del Carnevale a Courmayeur. Li si sente arrivare da lontano, passando per le frazioni e le vie del centro, con l’inconfondibile allegria dei loro campanelli e il tipico vestito ornato con fiori, medaglie, perline colorate, pompon e pennacchio.

A riot of colors, sounds, and flavors of tradition, mixed with a modern, ironic, and often irreverent soul: this is the Carnival at the foot of Mont Blanc, or rather the Camentràn, which in the local dialect means “entering Lent”. “Lé Beuffons” announce the arrival of Carnival in Courmayeur. They can be heard coming from afar, passing through the hamlets and streets of the center, with the unmistakable joy of their bells and the typical costume adorned with flowers, medals, colored beads, pom-poms, and plumes.
